Who We Are

The Aspen Tree Rarely Stands Alone.

Its roots are interconnected beneath the surface, sharing nutrients through which a vital community of Aspen trees spring up, stand tall and reach toward the sun.

Aspen Grove is a school with a cause: to nurture the wonder and magic of childhood.

We are an early learning community where the whole child is nurtured and where children learn with their heads, hands and heart. We serve children ages 6 weeks – 5 years. We are open from 7:30 am to 6 pm throughout the year.

As a Reggio-inspired school, our children engage in learning that is substantive yet joyful. At its foundation, our environment creates a sense of emotional safety for each child, which is when they learn best. Our committed educators, our nature-based program and our intentionally-designed physical space all work in concert to create this environment. The experience is one that celebrates this magical, yet fleeting, time that is childhood.

Our program emphasizes outdoor play and time in nature for exploration and wonder and encourages children to care about each other and to build their community.

Our Vision

Our vision is to inspire and encourage all children to develop a lifelong love of learning, celebrate their strengths, thrive in their differences and believe that they too can make a dent in the universe.

Our Classes

6 weeks to 5 years

Children build 3 key connections everyday – a connection with nature, with themselves and with their community. Children go outdoors daily for time in nature, to explore with all their senses and connect with the world around them. Nature comes indoors too in our light-filled spaces – sunshine dances in our classrooms and clouds play peek-a-boo through our windows.
